Breathe

Swimming in an ocean full of tears,  I'm a fish whose gills are on fire, I Can't breathe. Snaking through a jungle of delusions, I'm a reptile with a burning desire, I can't breathe. Flying through a swarm of piercing arrows, I'm a bird, i wish I could transpire, I can't breathe. Rushing full strength, from the predator, I'm a prey, I too perspire, and I'm tired, I can't breathe. Buzzing around the light of life, I'm a moth; I know my death is certain, yet I mire, I can't breathe. With blood gushing out of my slit veins, I too am a human, waiting to be placed on the pyre, I can't breathe.

HOPE

The sun sat down, soon it was dark when the night fell. The sky was starry, a treat to watch together, Then came the night, the flower drooped, and lost the spell. It wept dew, in that dark hue, The gardener was perplexed, he stood and watched the shew. Then the sky blead, and the sun rose bright, Blessed by the rainbow, the gardener saw the light. He nurtured the flower, with utmost dedication, The flower refused to bloom, without an indication. Then came the bees, aiming to churn honey with a swollen bosom, Infuriated, they stung the gardener, for the flower refused to blossom. Their duty that prevailed, mending the path that derailed, The gardener was glad, so was the flower; for the journey that they had scaled. The flower, personified with thorns around, Was being fostered upon a ground so profound. Undirected and purposeless, the gardener was all at sea, For he didn't know, what he should not, and what should he see. A morning that loomed, a flower that gloomed, The gardener...

The Meeting!

To the Muses! Bestow upon the blessings, the wealth and the stealth, I get to see you in person before kissing my death. Talks could go crazy, actions could go warp and weft, The end could be zero, the conversation could go length and breadth. Years that went by, sleeping and weeping, We woke up to a bright morning, to a smile and beth. Waiting for the clock to tick; and time to end, We fostered a relationship, that brought us closer in times to fend. Delighted by the moment to clarify and mend, I present you, myself, as a lost buddy and as an ideal husband. Look upon the major and leave behind what was "me", Take a step, and I'll turn around the world for us, I'll move the the universe, for us to be together, for what ever meant "we"

Seventy Six

Breathing together, for everyone, and each other, Moving forward each day with Phipps. Come what may, we promised each other, To light the flame of love by the day, with hope and determination as a mix. Clouds went dark, there was no light, Words exchanged, life questioned, soon the sky went eclipse. Then came the day, a move was made, People roped in, you left without a script. Doomed inside the walls, without an optic, Days, passed, nights fell, the number was seventy six. The ring of the bell, the catastrophe that fell, I heard a voce, that never sounded well. Yet I smiled out of joy and gayety, I knew I would see you after a dire longevity. Donning the same attire, carrying the very same fire, I saw you sitting unsecured, confused and in a fix. Back in your head, you too counted the days, Well, for you too, they were seventy six. The conversation that went by, those hurting phrases from thy, Were embedded in a brain so weak, so meek, just like a prick, Time takes it all, I kno...
